Why regular maintenance matters

  • Stay compliant – fire alarm systems must be maintained to IS 3218:2013, which requires on-site testing up to four times a year, with records kept by the building’s Responsible Person.
  • Keep your Garda response – monitored intruder alarms need to be maintained to I.S. EN 50131 for the Gardaí to keep responding to activations.
  • Keep your insurer happy – insurers commonly ask for proof that alarm and fire systems are professionally maintained.
